Why did you choose polytechnic instead of JC?

"
I had no interest in most subjects in jc, and I felt that I would be able to cope better doing subjects/modules that i enjoyed. Also, I had an idea of what I want to pursue in the future so going to poly means that I would start learning about things that are relevant to the things I want to do next time. " ---Senior M

How is the academic rigour? Is it competitive? Is everyone fixated on results?

"
It can be quite stressful at times because in design school, there arent really any tests so most of the work is accumulated for grading so we have to be consistent and manage our time properly. As for competition, I don't really feel that much of it as of now because I haven't really interacted with my classmates enough. But when it comes to work, everyone is willing to help each other out, not afraid to share ways to improve " ---Senior M
